• Designed and developed a smart shopping cart with automated checkout using QR code scanning and integrated weight scale systems for real-time item verification.
• Implemented BLE beacon technology to enable proximity marketing, offering targeted promotions and store navigation assistance.
• Built an inventory control system with automated checklist features to ensure stock management, loss prevention, and efficient restocking processes.
• Integrated advanced security features, including tamper detection and anti-theft mechanisms based on weight validation and movement tracking.
• Developed three integrated applications:
  • Cart Application (fixed tablet on cart): For scanning, billing, and real-time updates.
  • Admin Application: For inventory management, product uploads, monitoring, and reporting.
  • User Home Application: Allowing users to create shopping lists, pre-add items, and access promotions before visiting the store.
• Added an AI-powered chatbot within the user application to help customers locate products, answer queries, and recommend items based on shopping behavior.

Smart Socket (Final Year Research)

• Designed a smart socket capable of measuring electrical parameters including active power, apparent power, power factor, AC voltage, and AC current with high accuracy.
• Developed software for real-time monitoring of energy values, allowing users to view live data through an intuitive interface.
• Implemented monthly result logging and historical data storage for long-term energy usage analysis.
• Enabled remote controlling features, allowing users to turn devices on/off from mobile or web applications.
• Integrated a fault detection system to identify abnormal conditions such as overloads or voltage drops and alert users immediately.
• Developed an energy prediction system using historical consumption data to forecast future usage and optimize energy efficiency.
